Cherries can be eaten as a fruit; their appearance is brightly colored and crystal-beautiful, red as agate, yellow as congealed fat, and the fruit is rich in sugar, protein, vitamins and calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and many other elements. So how do you grow cherry seeds into a small potted plant?

1. Preparing the soil

When growing cherries in a home pot, you first need to prepare a potting soil suitable for growth. For cherries, it is best to prepare a sandy soil with high fertility and good drainage, so that its roots can grow better. You can choose to plant it in leaf mold, adding sand and organic fertilizer at a ratio of 5:4:1.

2. Choosing a container

For a small potted cherry, choose a clay tile pot or ceramic pot of suitable size as the container. You can use a container with a diameter of 10-15cm and a height of about 8cm; the specific choice can be decided according to the number planted.

3. Planting the potted plant

Sow the seeds directly into the potting soil, then cover with a thin layer of soil and keep the soil moist.

4. Potted plant management

For a potted cherry, it is recommended to place it in a dry, sunny spot and water it once every 3 days so that the plant's roots adapt to the new soil. Do not fertilize immediately, to avoid excessive nutrients.

In the world, cherries are mainly distributed in the United States, Canada, Chile, Australia, Europe and other places. In China, the main producing areas include Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Henan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan and others.
