How to plant leftover pomegranate seeds? I'll teach you the correct planting method
Many people like to eat pomegranates because they taste sweet, but pomegranates contain a lot of seeds, and it feels wasteful to throw them away, so some people want to plant them. So, how do you plant eaten pomegranate seeds?
1. How do you plant eaten pomegranate seeds?
First, wash off the transparent membrane on the outer layer of the pomegranate seeds, then soak them in clean water for 6-10 days until there are no impurities, changing the clean water every day. Then, prepare loose, fertile, well-drained soil, spray an appropriate amount of water to keep it slightly moist. Then, spread the pomegranate seeds evenly over the surface of the soil, then place a layer of small stones on top, and sprinkle water so that the soil and pomegranate seeds are completely soaked through. Finally, wait for the pomegranate seeds to sprout.
2. How do you peel a pomegranate quickly when eating it?
Method 1. First, place the pomegranate horizontally, cut off both ends with a fruit knife, then use the fruit knife to score a line around the middle of the pomegranate, just like scoring the Earth's equator; be careful not to cut too deep, so as not to damage the pomegranate seeds. Then, use both hands to pry the pomegranate open along the opening, then lightly tap the surface of the pomegranate with a prepared large soup spoon, and the pomegranate seeds will fall out on their own.
Method 2. First, use a fruit knife to cut a rectangular or square opening in the top of the pomegranate. Then, following the rectangular or square shape you cut, score from the top down to the bottom; be careful not to cut too deep, so as not to pierce the pomegranate fruit. After that, lift up the rectangular or square piece of skin at the top, open the pomegranate from four angles, and you can see the arils inside; at this point you can peel and eat the arils as you go.
Method 3. First, use a fruit knife to cut off the top and bottom calyx of the pomegranate, then use a small knife to score one cut from top to bottom along each raised area; however many raised areas there are, make that many cuts. Then, remove the core in the middle, and after prying it open, only the arils remain.
