Recently, 3 achievements in rapeseed direct seeders and windrowers led by the research team of the College of Engineering at Huazhong Agricultural University passed appraisal by the Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Luo Xiwen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor at South China Agricultural University, and Chen Xuegeng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and researcher at the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Reclamation Sciences, served as chairman and vice-chairman of the appraisal committee respectively. Zhu Ming, president of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Engineering Research and Design, and Wang Hanzhong, director of the Oil Crops Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, attended the appraisal meeting.
