Tianlong Qidie (Tianlong Mudan) is a qidie-type flower variety of Cymbidium goeringii (spring orchid).
Also known as Tianlong Mudan, it was discovered in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. It is recognized as one of the best peony-type orchids in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. The flowers are bright red and white, vivid and eye-catching, with high contrast and stable blooming form. In 1995, Wang Weiyuan selected and named this representative peony-type Cymbidium goeringii variety, Tianlong Qidie, after its discovery in Zhoushan. This variety has large flowers and drooping leaves that easily rise above the foliage; when a strong plant blooms, it can produce as many as a dozen or more large lips, which is very spectacular.
